India is all set to face Sri Lanka in the 3rd match of the Super 4 in the Asia Cup 2022 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 6, Tuesday. In the previous match, Lankans defeated Afghanistan to qualify for the first match of the Super 4 stage, whereas India lost the innings to Pakistan in the previous Super 4 challenge. However, the team defeated Pakistan previously but couldn’t repeat the same in their previous match.
In this series, India and Sri Lanka will be challenging each other for the first time in the Asia Cup 2022. The team Sri Lanka lost their first match in the series but played successfully twice in the back-to-back games. None of their players scored the fifties but manoeuvred a planned inning with Pathum Nissanka scoring 35, Kusal Mendis grabbing 36 runs, Danushka Gunathilaka with 33 runs, and Bhanuka Rajapaksa acing on 31 runs, to make their team victorious. The fans are quite keen on today’s match as India needs to win it to proceed to other rounds.
