It took place on April 23, 2013, during a match between the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Pune Warriors India in IPL 6. 6. Ab de Villiers 

In 2016, AB de Villiers once again made it to the list of the highest individual score in the IP. His spectacular innings of 129 runs off just 52 balls against the Gujarat Lions was laced with 10 fours and 12 sixes and propelled Royal RCB to a formidable total of 248 runs.
