Bangladesh and Pakistan will play the first match of the Super 4 round at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The two teams will be facing each other in the ODI format after nearly four years. The last time they met in the 50-over format was at the 2019 ODI World Cup.
Pakistan have announced the playing XI for the match already. The XI is the same which played against India but there’s just one different – Faheem Ashraf has replaced Mohammad Nawaz.
Pakistan became the first team to qualify for the Super 4 round. They defeated Nepal comprehensively in their first game and then displayed a brilliant bowling performance against India before the match was called off due to rain. Bangladesh, on the other hand, defeated Afghanistan by 89 runs in their last game after losing their tournament opener to Sri Lanka. After setting a target of 335, Bangladesh bowled out Afghanistan for 245.
Historically, Bangladesh have won 32 of the 37 ODI matches against Afghanistan. But they have lost four of the last five.

Pakistan vs Bangladesh Match Prediction
While Pakistan is a stronger team on paper, it is interesting to note that Bangladesh have won four of the last five matches between the two sides, although the last of these wins came way back in 2019. Both sides have some experienced players but going by recent form, Pakistan are the favourites to win this game.
