Metro Surfer – Gameplay & Scoring

Objective:

The objective of this skill-based game is to dodge obstacles and collect the maximum number of points while running. 

Gameplay:

  • Exercise hand-eye coordination to control a character running on three parallel train tracks. 
  • Control character’s movement carefully, relying on natural reflexes to avoid obstacles and oncoming trains. 
  • Navigate through various hurdles and efficiently collect power-ups by switching between tracks. 
  • Colliding with an obstacle results in the controlled character respawning in 3 seconds, leading to a loss of game time. 
  • Collect coins on the running path while overcoming hurdles and collecting coins to earn points. 
  • The player with the highest points at the end of the allocated time wins the game.

Controls:

  • Swipe left/right to change tracks. 
  • Swipe up to jump; swipe down to slide.
  • Scoring: Players earn points for collecting coins and covering track distance.

Special Power-ups during the game:

  • Magnet: This power-up collects all coins on the map, even if the player doesn’t pass through them. It lasts for 15 seconds. 
  • 2x: This power-up doubles the points earned for 15 seconds. 
  • Jump Booster: This power-up allows the player to jump higher for 15 seconds.

Important Information Provided to Players:

  • Time: The game displays the total 90 seconds time at the start and shows the decreasing time to the player. 
  • Turns: 20 Turns for the entire 90 seconds.
  • Score: The player’s score is continuously displayed, allowing them to track their progress. 
  • Duration of Power-ups: When a player collects a power-up, a timer shows how long it will last. 
  • The player with the highest score at the end of the game is declared the winner.
  • Quit Pop-up – Once you enter the contest and we start finding opponent for you, if you decide to quit the game at any point in time, your entry amount shall be deducted and not refunded back
  • In case of the match ending in equal points for both players (including 0 for both players). The total prize amount will be equally shared with all the participants.
  • Commission Fee: WinZO may charge a commission upto 15% commission on contests on WinZO. Actual applicable winnings post deduction of commission are shown on the entry screen to you.
  • If a game is not completed due to a system malfunction on WinZO’s part, the amount will be automatically refunded. You also have the option to raise a support ticket from your Transaction History.
    However, in the event of a gameplay failure caused by poor network connectivity or any other disruptions or failures at the user’s end, no refund will be issued. Please ensure a strong and stable network connection before starting the game
  • When the game rules is accessed or we perform any other task during the game, the game will quit.
  • Reconnection is not allowed. In case player drops out of the game due to any circumstances, he/she will lose the game.
