The mega auction for IPL 2025 is set to take place on November 24 and November 25 in Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah. A total of 574 players, excluding those who have been retained by their respective franchises, will go under the hammer at the two-day event. A total of 1,574 players had thrown in their hats, before the The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shortlisted the eventual list of 574 names. This includes 48 capped Indian players, 193 overseas capped players, 318 uncapped Indians and 12 uncapped overseas players. The remaining three are from Associate Nations. 81 of these 574 players have a base price of a whopping Rs 2 crore.
