After a long tour of the West Indies, India will now take on Ireland in a three-match T20 series, starting on August 18 (Friday). All three games will be played at The Village in Dublin.
One of the most anticipated aspects of the series is the return of Jasprit Bumrah, who has not played any competitive cricket since 2022. Bumrah has recovered from an injury and will be leading the Indian team in this series. This makes him India’s 11th captain in the game’s shortest format. On their previous tour of Ireland last year, India secured a convincing victory in the two-match T20 series, winning both matches and thereby claiming the series 2-0.
