ICC T20 World Cup 2022 is all set to start on October 16 with the qualifiers kicking off the marquee tournament. In the opening match, Sri Lanka will take on Namibia. Once the qualifiers are done, the super 12 round commences on October 22. Hosts Australia will lock horns with New Zealand. The ICC T20 World Cup 2022 final will take place on November 13.
Australia is the host of this edition of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. As far as India is concerned, the Rohit Sharma-led outfit will clash with Pakistan on October 23 at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground.

There are 4 groups in the tournament. This includes two groups in the qualifier rounds – A and B. Once we get into the Super 12 round, there will be two groups – 1 and 2.

India T20 World Cup 2022 Squad, Schedule, Players List, Predicted Playing XI
India will start their campaign against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2022 on October 23 at Melbourne Cricket Ground. India is part of group 2 in the tournament and they have been grouped with Pakistan, South Africa, and Bangladesh in their pool.
India has started their preparations – they have already played two practice games against Western Australia XI. They will now take on Australia and New Zealand in official warm-up matches.
India would want to replicate the performance after clinching their inaugural T20 World Cup back in 2007 under MS Dhoni. The side was knocked out in the first round in the last edition of the T20 World Cup and would want to bounce back.
