Mini Ludo Game Rules

The objective of this skill-based game of Mini Ludo is to be the first player to move the 2 game pieces from the starting area to the home area, which is typically located at the center of the board.

Mini Ludo is different from the Traditional Indian Ludo and has been modified to be played on a smaller board requiring additional skill elements on part of the user.

The game is either played between 2 players. Each player starts with an equal number of tokens each (2 tokens/3 tokens/4 tokens) and they have to make highest number of points before the game ends.

How to Play:

  • All the tokens start their journey inside the board from the respective safe point and the player has the ability to release any of its tokens without rolling the die for a value of 6. 
  • Player roll a six-sided dice with values from 1 to 6, each value having an equal probability of occurring.
  • The player must cautiously move the tokens with any dice value that they get within a limited period of time, they can move move any token to the value equal to the dice roll as per their convenience to ensure that their tokens reach the home area without being intercepted by their opponent’s tokens. Tokens can be moved only in a clockwise direction and can’t go backwards.
  • With in a time period of 10 secs the dice should be rolled by the player.
  • During gameplay, if the player does not roll the dice or not perform any action by the time the dice is automatically rolled and the tokens move according to the dice value.
  • During gameplay, if the player does not roll the dice for three consecutive turns, in this condition the user exits the game with a score of 0.
  • By landing on the same cell as your opponent’s token the player can capture it and get an extra turn if he eliminates the opponent’s pawn. The eliminated token returns to the initial position.
  • Opponent token cannot be killed if it is lying in a safe point. Players may also cleverly utilize these safe points to improve their position in the game. There are a total of 4 safe zones on the board
  • The player gets an extra turn when they roll a dice value of 6. If a token of the user reaches the home position, he will earn an extra turn. Maximum two consecutive 6s are allowed
  • Each player will get 10 seconds to make a move.
  • Stable internet connection is required to play Mini Ludo
  • If a player voluntarily quits the game or faces Internet disconnection, the game continues with the opponent player until the player loses the three turns and then the winner is declared

Scoring

– 1 point is given to the player for each cell moved. All the points accumulated by a token are lost if it is eliminated by an opponent.

– No extra points are awarded to eliminate an opponent’s token.

– 16 points are awarded for every token that reaches home

Duration of the Play

Game length is based on number of moves that can be played by each player ranging from 8 moves to 12 moves. The game continues till the number of moves in the game gets exhausted

The following information is provided to the players on the screen:

  1. Score: Live score of all players playing the game
  2. No. of moves left for the player
  3. No. of moves missed by each player

Player getting the highest score at the end of the game wins

Fair play: Players must play the game fairly, impartially, and as per its rules, without employing unfair means, cheating, or collusion.

In case of score tie, the prize amount is shared between both the players.

Rejoining the game after dropping out is not allowed. In case player drops out of the game due to any circumstances, he/she will lose the game.

As part of Game rules, if a user misses 3 turns his game gets over and score becomes zero. In case, if other players also miss 3 turns in the game, then they also get the same score.

Commission Fee: WinZO may charge a commission upto 15% commission on contests on WinZO. Actual applicable winnings post deduction of commission are shown on the entry screen to you.
