So, what makes this watch so expensive? Well, 110 carats of rare and big coloured diamonds are set into the bracelet of the watch which is made of platinum. Laurence Graff, the Chairman of Graff Diamonds, created this timeless watch. Till date, the watch remains unsold and is in possession of Laurence Graff. It was unveiled at Basel world in 2014.

This one by Graff Diamonds is a convertible watch and one of its kind in the world. There’s a removable part in the watch which doubles up as a ring. The watch is adorned with 152.96 carats of white diamonds, with a rare 38.13-carat D pear-shaped diamond at its centre.

This stunning pear-shaped diamond can be either worn as the watch’s dial or detached and worn separately as a ring. You can also style this part of the watch as a bracelet. This watch was unveiled in the year 2015. It is the second most expensive watch in the world at Rs 416 crore.

3. Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime Ref. 6300A-010

Patek Philippe is a Swiss luxury watch brand known for making some of the finest, high-quality watches in the world. They have been around since 1839 and are famous for their attention to detail. Their Chime Ref. 6300A-010 watch is the third costliest watch in the world valued at Rs 258 crore.

Featuring 20 complications, the watch was made in 2024 in honour of the brand’s 175th anniversary. The watch has two dials, both adorned with blue opaline and complemented by gold-applied numerals and 18k gold plates. The case of this masterpiece is made with white gold, making it one of the most costliest watch in the world. 

4. Breguet Grande Complication Marie Antoinette

The Breguet Grande is a luxury watch made by the Swiss brand Breguet, known for its high-end craftsmanship and innovative designs. The costliest watch they’ve ever created is the Breguet Grande Complication Marie Antoinette worth Rs 249 crore.

This watch is thought to have been originally ordered by one of Marie Antoinette’s lovers for the French queen. However, its creation took an incredible 40 years to complete. Unfortunately, Marie Antoinette was executed before the watch was finished.

It also has 60-minute and 12-hour registers. The design and construction of timepiece took seven years to complete. Now coming to the cost, this watch is valued at Rs 216 crore. 

7. Chopard 201- Carat

Chopard, founded in 1860, is another Swiss luxury brand known for creating high-quality watches and jewellery. Chopard 201- Carat is the seventh most expensive watch in the world valued at Rs 208 crore. The watch is embellished with over 800 unique and colourful diamonds in fancy shapes.

At the heart of the watch is a large heart shaped pink diamond that weighs over 15 carats, as well as a blue diamond weighing over 12 carats and an 11-carat white diamond. The bracelet is embellished with 26 yellow diamonds in pear shape.

8. Rolex Paul Newman Daytona Ref. 6239

Founded in 1905, Swiss watchmaker Rolex is known for its iconic designs and innovations. Actor Paul Newman received this watch from his wife, Joanne Woodward, in 1968. In 2017, Paul Newman’s Daytona watch was auctioned, and it was sold in just 12 minutes. The value of the watch is Rs 155 crore.

The last entry on the list is Patek Philippe Stainless Steel Ref. 1518, valued at Rs 99 crore.  This stainless-steel watch, which was manufactured way back in 1943, is part of a four-piece series from Patek Philippes which is not made of gold cases.
