About the Role:
At WinZO, our iOS team powers the future of mobile gaming. An iOS developer is responsible for designing and developing applications for Apple devices, ensuring they are user-friendly, efficient, and meet rigorous quality standards. What you will do:
- Take ownership of large-scale iOS projects end to end, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Architect complex features and define system design, selecting patterns, libraries, and frameworks to support high performance and maintainability.
- Drive the technical roadmap, identify and mitigate technical debt, and plan future enhancements and dependencies.
- Set up and own application monitoring and performance tracking, using analytics platforms and profiling tools to ensure reliability at scale.
- Navigate a complex, multi-team environment, coordinating across stakeholders to unblock teams and guide execution.
- Lead, manage and mentor cross-functional iOS teams in architecting and delivering enterprise-grade platforms, setting strategic direction for performance, security, and seamless user experiences.
- Act as a business-oriented leader, defining growth directions, shaping mobile strategy, and managing team capacity to meet organizational objectives.
Essential Skills:
- 8+ years leading iOS engineering efforts, with a history of delivering scalable, high-traffic mobile applications.
- Proven ownership of key features or modules in customer-facing apps, ensuring smooth UX and production stability under heavy load.
- Expert proficiency in Swift and Objective-C, with deep understanding of iOS internals (runtime, memory management, lifecycle).
- Full-lifecycle development experience—from requirements gathering and system design to implementation, testing, deployment, and live monitoring.
- Leadership of cross-functional iOS teams, driving technical reviews, mentoring engineers, and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Deep experience designing and operating CI/CD systems, automated QA frameworks, and performance-tracing infrastructures in production.
- Strong system-design and architectural skills for real-time gaming scenarios, including low-latency networking, caching strategies, and resource-efficient rendering.
- Business and strategic acumen to align technical roadmaps with organizational objectives and present architectural plans to executive leadership.
Preferred Skills:
- Extensive experience structuring and scaling multiple iOS teams, defining role profiles, and conducting performance reviews focused on long-term growth.
- Recognized thought leadership through published technical articles, open-source projects, conference talks, or patents in mobile or gaming technology.
- Deep expertise integrating iOS apps with enterprise-scale backend systems, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), and security frameworks for production-grade solutions.
- Hands-on experience with native performance tuning, including Metal, C/C++ integrations, and low-level optimizations for graphics and rendering.
