- There should be no cards in the waste pile or foundation yet.
How to Score in Solitaire
While the objective of Solitaire is to move all the cards to the foundation piles, scoring provides an additional challenge and an opportunity for players to track their progress and compare their scores.
- In Solitaire, you score points for moving cards from the tableau to the foundation piles.
- Each card moved to the foundation pile is worth 10 points.
- If you move a card directly from the stockpile to the foundation, it's worth 5 points.
- You can also score points by flipping cards from the stockpile to the tableau.
- Each card flipped from the stockpile to the tableau is worth 5 points.
- However, flipping over cards without moving them to the foundation does not score any points.
