Latin America is a mobile-first gaming market projected to generate a staggering $5.1 billion by 2025. According to reports, Brazil currently holds the title of the region’s largest game producer, with its output more than doubling between 2018 and 2022. Brazil is also hosting the first-ever Gamescom—LATAM this year. The country is home to over 1,000 Game Developers and ranks fourth in game downloads in the global mobile gaming market.

WinZO would be investing from the $50 Million global Game Developer Fund with the objective of developing an ecosystem that facilitates culturally relevant content creation, gaming experiences, and Technology that facilitates real time interactive entertainment for the global market. The Fund would focus on companies involved in gaming and ancillary products, including game developers, publishers, gaming economies, content creators, game operations, and security.
WinZO is also setting up the first ever India Pavilion at Gamescom LATAM with a delegation of 20 gaming companies showcasing their games at the India Pavilion. The India Pavilion is set to be inaugurated by the Honorable Ambassador of India to Brazil on 27th June, encouraging bilateral economic & business relations between India & Brazil. The Co-founders and the Investment team will attend this year’s Gamescom – LATAM iin Sao Paulo to meet with potential partners. The company is looking to meet studios that offer culturally relevant games in Brazil and Latin America and is looking to write cheques between $100K USD to $5 Million USD.
