Connect 4

• Objective: The objective of the skill-based game is to connect/get a sequence of 4 tokens by a player against his/her opponent. The game is played in a turn-based manner between 2 players. The players must place his/her token in the x*x grid and try to connect 4 tokens in a vertical, horizontal or diagonal sequence. The two players alternate turns dropping one of their pieces into an unfilled column. A player should strategize to ensure that the opponent does not form the row of 4 token before himself. Both the players also have a 'Block' powerup (2 per game) where the players can choose to use the place to block a certain area in the grid that can obstruct the sequence the opponent is trying to create. Owing to the limited number of blocks available, the player must have tactful awareness to determine the opportune time to utilize such blocks. Concentration and adroitness is required from the player to achieve the fastest sequence of 4 rows and prevent the opponent from scoring those 4 rows. Scoring: The player that is able to create a sequence of 4 tokens first is announced the winner of the game Total duration of the game: The duration of the game depends on when a player first connects 4 tokens. It could also be within a minute. The following information is provided to the players on the screen: 1. Turn Timer: The time provided to the player in each turn the player gets in the game. The player that is able to create a sequence of 4 tokens first is announced the winner of the game The aggregate contributions by all players will constitute the Prize Money Pool.
