Whoever makes the highest bid gets to choose the trump card. The final bid is decided when 3 of the 4 players choose to pass. - The first bid must be higher than 15 points. No one can bid more than 29. The players must be strategic in choosing the bid carefully as the person with highest bid can select the 'trump card' but failure to reach the bid will cause the player to lose the game. The highest bidder then chooses a trump card but does not tell the other players. - Now, each player gets 4 more cards making everyone’s total 8. Each card holds a separate value and hence the players are required to memorize the value of the card they are holding fro quick decision-making and smart play. - The person sitting to the left of the dealer plays the first card. The next player must follow the same suit. - When a player cannot play the same suit, he tells the group. At this point, the trump cardholder declares which card it is. - The game continues until someone throws in a trump card. This person proceeds to get everyone’s cards and points. - The goal is to play tricks where you have the highest valued cards. Hence, the participants have to bear on mind the values assigned to the card and be mindful of the cards that have been dealt to the other players. The players must also attempt to strategize with the partner to win most number of tricks.
