2048 Balls

Objective: The objective of this skill-based game is to merge balls of same value to make larger balls and score more points. Players are given a container in which they are required to accurately place similar valued balls on one another. Each ball is randomly generated has a specific number labelled on it which is valued at 2 or a multiple of 2, as the case may be. Players must make quick decisions to quickly swipe left or right to move a ball as close to a ball with similar value before it drops. If balls with same numbers collide, then they merge and players score points. If a player is able to achieve multiple merges at once, they score bonus points. Hence, players must swiftly calculate the number of the new ball which will be formed pursuant to the merger in order to achieve maximum points with every drop. The players are advised to consider the fluid motions of the ball and its ability to collide with adjacent balls to gauge the possible movement of the balls after their fall. Scoring: 1. When two balls are merged, the resulting score is calculated as the value of the merged ball minus 1. For example, if two balls whose value is 16, are merged, the score is calculated as 16 - 1 = 15 2. When three or more balls are merged at a time, it is considered a combo merge. The score obtained from the merge is multiplied by a value called 'multiplier'. The value of the 'multiplier' is calculated as the minimum of the number of balls merged and 6, divided by 2. For eg. if three balls are merged, the 'multiplier' is calculated as the minimum of 3 and 6, divided by 2 = 1.5. Total duration of the game: The game runs for 1.5 minutes or 90 seconds. The following information is provided to the players on the screen: 1. Time: The total time at the start of the game and the time decreasing is shown to the player. 2. Score: The player's score is shown to them. As the score is increasing/decreasing, the player is able to track their score. The player that generates the most points over the given time is announced as the winner. The aggregate contributions by all players will constitute the Prize Money Pool.
