Rounds and Dealing
The game of Call Break consists of five rounds. Before each round begins, all players take turns dealing the cards. To determine the first dealer, each player randomly picks a card from the deck. The player who draws the lowest card is designated as the first dealer. The dealer for the first round then shuffles the cards and deals them in a clockwise direction.
The Dealer's Privilege
In each round, the dealer gets the advantage of making the last call. This allows the dealer to have a strategic advantage in determining the trump suit for that particular round.
Completing Sets and Scoring
During a round, a set is completed when each player takes their turn to throw one card. The player with the highest-ranking card in that set wins and collects all the cards from that set. At the end of the round, the total number of cards collected by each player is counted to determine their points. The game consists of five rounds, and players can mutually agree on the number of rounds to be played.
Following Suit and Playing Spades
Once a player deals a card, the other players must throw a higher card of the same suit if they have one. However, if a player doesn't have a higher card of the same suit, they must throw a Spade card. If they don't have any Spade cards, they can throw any card they like, regardless of the suit. The key is to strategize and make the best use of Spades and higher-ranking cards to gain an advantage in the game.
